Cingular 3125 launches, clamshell Windows Mobile

Cingular 3125CTIA IT 2006 -- Cingular and HTC have announced the availability of the Cingular 3125 . The device is an OEM version of the HTC Star Trek. Few Windows Mobile handsets are flip phones, the Motorola MPx220 was the last one that made it to the US.

Features of the Cingular 3125 include:

  • Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0
  • Quadband GSM plus EDGE
  • Main display is QVGA with 65k colors, outer display is 128×128 with 65k colors
  • 1.3 megapixel camera
  • Bluetooth
  • 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM plus microSD slot
  • MP3 player with external control keys

Cingular is selling the 3125 for $149.99 after $150 in instant savings. A two-year service contract is required.
