Even more iPhone speculation

Dec 05 2006 - 01:22 AM ET | Apple, Rumor

Hardly a day goes by without another rumor of an Apple "iPhone", but the one from this past weekend has bubbled up way more than almost all others. Digg.com co-founder Kevin Rose has gone on record in a video podcast that Apple is indeed prepping a mobile phone for launch in January and detailed some of the specs. Rose flubs some basics but notes a few interesting points:

  • Two configurations, 4GB ($249) and 8GB ($449). Each said to be available in both GSM and CDMA.
  • Unique twin battery design, one for music and one for phone playback
  • Slide-style design, overall very small
