UK readers will be happy to note that The Register is reporting you'll soon be able to hail a cab in London via your mobile phone. The service will be available to customers of Vodafone, T-Mobile and O2 but there will only be 500 cabs equipped when the service launches next week. Look for this to expand to 3,000 by the end of the year.
