Virgin Mobile USA has surpassed the 1 million customer mark according to a release by the company. Although it's a far shy from the numbers that the top US carriers are pulling, Virgin Mobile USA is new--only 5 quarters of operation. That means the company tied with Sprint PCS for the shortest time to a million customers.
