Motorola V300The Motorola V300 [MobileTracker coverage 1, 2] has taken the top spot at Internet retail giant Amazon.com. The previous top seller was the smash hit Sony Ericsson T610. Supply of the V300 is still a problem, as the Amazon.com product page notes the phone isn't in stock yet. "In stock soon. Order now to get in line. First come, first served." We noted back in December that the supply problem was related to a shortage of camera modules. Moreso, a source told us that Motorola issued a recall of all boxed V300's that put an increased strain on an already low supply of handsets. The phone is $199 minus a $200 rebate exclusive to Amazon, which leaves you with a dollar in your pocket. A new T-Mobile contract is needed.
