Nokia 3220 announced

Nokia has announced an innovative new handset dubbed the Nokia 3220. The most obvious feature of the new phone is transparent Nokia Xpress-On grips, which pulsate with light effects to indicate calls, messages, and in sync with the beat of ringtones. Also new (and the first time we have seen it on any phone) is light messaging: bq. By waving the Nokia 3220 from side to side, the LED lights of the Nokia Xpress-on Fun Shell light up to "write" a message that appears to float in mid-air. Exchanging messages across a crowded room or at open-air concerts will never be the same. The Nokia 3220 has a 65,536-color active-matrix LCD and will ship for around 250 EUR. It's expected to hit the market this Summer. Click thumbnail to view super-sized image, broadband suggested
