Nokia Business Center announced

The Nokia Business Center was announced this morning, it's a new software solution that looks to take on offerings from Research In Motion. Push email is the focus, and the solution currently works with the high-end line up from Nokia. Supported models currently include:

  • 9300
  • 9500
  • 6630
  • 6680/6681/6682

The Java email client works with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, followed shortly by support for Lotus Notes and Domino. Trials are currently in progress while it's expected to be available for purchase before the end of the year.

There have been a lot of companies trying to unseat RIM, but nothing has worked so far. I like mine, but it's a little big. Not exactly cool outside of the office.
