Panasonic X700 announced

At the CommiunicAsia conference, Panasonic announced its Symbian powered phone ever: the Panasonic X700. The company is calling it the "flagship" phone for 2004:

• MiniSD
• VGA Camera with video recording
• Edit native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
• 65,000 color TFT
• Bluetooth

The Panasonic X700 should be shipping in Europe and Asia this Fall. It is not known if the handset will make its way to America. We first mentioned this phone back in February 2004.
