Nokia patches Bluetooth bug

Silicon.com is running a piece that notes Nokia has developed a software patch for the "bluesnarfing" problem with its Bluetooth enabled phones. Bluesnarfing is a security flaw that allows attackers to read, modify and copy a phone's address book and calendar via Bluetooth without the phone's owner knowing. Despite annoucing that the patch is already available for some phone models, Nokia hasn't noted how customers can actually get ahold of said patch. It is not known how the patch will be applied. We will keep you posted on this developing story.
