4 megapixel camera phone module announced

Mitsubishi today
announced a breakthrough 4 megapixel camera phone module. It's a CCD type (not CMOS which results in lower quality) and can record VGA resolution video at 30 frames per second. The new modules should be shipping in volume from Mitsubishi during March 2005.
