Samsung A890 shipped to Verizon Wireless

Samsung has announced that it has shipped 20,000 SCH-A890 mobile phones to Verizon Wireless. Features of the Samsung A890 include:

• EV-DO high-speed wireless (it will be the third EV-DO handset).
• 1.3 megapixel camera with flash
• 3D interface

Verizon is expected to begin shipping the first EV-DO compatible mobile phones in January though it is not known of the Samsung A890 will be apart of the launch.
