Samsung a890 to ship from Verizon Wireless in Feb

Verizon Wireless will begin shipping the Samsung SCH-a890 on February 1st as part of the VCAST launch.
MobileTracker reported that Verizon Wireless was receiving shipments of the a890 back in late December.
Features of the Samsung a890 include:
* EV-DO high-speed data

Text-to-speech
*
VCAST* 260K color display
* 1.2 megapixel camera
The Samsung a890 will be available to Verizon Wireless customers on the 1st for $249.99 after $70 rebate with a two-year agreement.
