Motorola MPx officially killed

The Motorola MPx was way overdue, so today's confirmation that the MPx has been scrapped didn't come as too much of a surprise. The phone only shipped in Malaysia and other small Asian markets. The MPx line has had trouble before, the MPx100 was cancelled before release. Featuring a unique dual hinge, the MPx was supposed to define high-end Windows Mobile devices. Motorola hasn't given up on Windows Mobile--the MPx220 is still for sale and the company plans on announcing more devices later this year. There was no word if the rumored "thin MPx" dubbed the RAZRberry will ever see the light of day.
