It will ship in two colors (to start), grey and blue. Since the other colors of the RAZR sold so well I wouldn't be surprised if new versions come out in the future. Especially pink.

2 megapixel camera is not so cool as 3.2(in previous post). Anyway new design seems nice.

David, thanks for the link. Since it's skinnier it makes it look really long. Still fairly tall as phones go though, the RAZR wasn't short to start with. But thanks for clearing it up.

Verizon will be a carrier of the phone. It is currently being tested by Verizon personnel. They have had it in their hands for about a month and a half. From what I understand, they usually have phones for about two months before release. I hear it is awesome. The reception is not as great and the RAZR, but it's still pretty sweet!

Wow, I just LOVE this phone. I REALLY LOVE the blue color, as thats wat caught my attention. Oh yeah, I also like the fact that it is GSM because I vacation to Ecuador (different coutry)every year. I'm glad that it has flash, glad that it has AIM, and glad that it has MP3. This is a really hot phone! I thought the SLVR was nice until I saw this. I am impressed. I most likely going to wait for MOTOKRZR K1 because the qualities on that phone is much better than the CDMA phone. Who's ever thinking to buy this phone wait for the GSM phone don't rush it will definatly be worth it in the long run.

This phone looks tight. Definitely better looking overall than the previous RAZR, or the SLVR. I also saw on another site that it's going to be available for Sprint (thank god, because Sprint has the worst selection of phones ever). Anybody have any idea when theyll start selling it?

Easy to notice who is getting so excited by a blue phone. In the UK Vodafone promotional material also shows the date 11/10/06 which over here means the 11th October. Some of you going to get excited on a possible release date earlier than thanksgiving? Colour good, looks good. Functionality, still not up there with Nokia.

Given Nokia don't have exactly the same flip phone, that aside the user experience is so different and better. For instance, compare the functionality of the Nolia 6280 or N91 to any Motorola. When you consider 2 of the key uses for many users; phone contacts list and predictive text ability a Nokia is just as much a choice as this Moto. Granted it has a good look and style, if it didn't they wouldn't be selling any based on its actual use!

Are you sure the KRZR K1 has no Flash memory ??? On the Motorola web site, in the specs of the phone, they say : "MicroSD slot for optional upgradeable memory". Is this memory available for the camera recording, or only for contacts or pictures storage ?

At this moment I just can use the PhoneTools for BatteryCharge and the driver let me go in the Directory to take out/and in my files.
