motorola-krzr-cingular.jpgCingular (well technically as of Monday, Wireless from AT&T) has launched the Motorola KRZR. The KRZR had previously only been available nationally from CDMA carriers. The "MOTOKRZR" is Motorola's replacement for the ever-popular RAZR. It's a little thicker than the RAZR but comes in both shorter and narrower.

Features of the Motorola KRZR include:

  • Quad-band GSM plus EDGE
  • 2 megapixel camera with video capture
  • Bluetooth with stereo A2DP support
  • MP3 playback
  • IM from AIM/MSN/Yahoo
  • MicroSD card slot
  • 176×220 pixel screen with 262k colors

Cingular is selling the KRZR for $199.99 after a 2-year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate. It's available now in both retail stores and online. The original RAZR is still available in several colors for $79.99 with the same contract and rebate.
