RadioShack dumps Verizon for Cingular

RadioShack announced today that it will stop selling mobile phones from Verizon Wireless and instead begin sales of phones from Cingular. Sprint will continued to be sold through RadioShack, though their contract is up next year. Terms of the agreement were not announced. RadioShack has over 5,000 stores nationwide and is the nation's largest independent wireless retailer. Wireless sales (excluding accessories) total 34% of RadioShack's revenue.
