While the handset was announced, details like if it would be GSM or CDMA (or both) were not announced. The article notes that Verizon's model will include EV-DO while the GSM model will sport EDGE.

This looks like a heck of a handset, but I imagine it will be at least Q2 before it ships. At least on Verizon, they take forever getting devices out the door. I'm a happy GSM user now, but if the Q CDMA ships first I may have to jump ship.
