Pretty neat handset for a pay as you go carrier. I wonder if it looks as good in person. I love the fact it has a memory card slot, but it would have been nice if they included a little bigger card. You can't fit much music on 32MB.

I got it Oct 4th (my birthday woohoo) at like 5:00am eastern time on Virgin's site. I took it to a VA Tech game and took pics and mini movie clips and all were excellent! The mp'3 could play more but what do you expect with the amount of memory it has. Can't wait for more memory to come out.

AH Muh Gawd. I canot wait for my 'rents to get me this phone! I have heard bad things about it though..bad quality in pics, not enough room. How are the music videos and other heavy.com clips? Noone has mentioned these. I am still wondering how they are and if this phone is really worthy it!!!

I bought this phone last week and can honestly say it is an awesome phone. I wish it came with a larger card but the speaker sounds awesome. The phone is really well built and looks great. A real attention getter. I returned it because most of my friends are on verizon so its cheaper for me to go with a verizon pay as you go but I am thinking of getting the slider sonic again because I like it so much. Just carry two phones :)

And what about nokia n91 with 4 GB memory? Is it music phone?

i just got the slider sonic phone it looks great. it also takes videos, has games,web browsing, and a camera + Video player and downloadable videos from heavy.com. the max size for mini sd memory cards for this phone is 1Gb. you can only use cards formatted for this phone. I have been with virgin mobile since the party animal (another kyocera phone). I also have a vox 8610. so this is my second year with virgin and I love them.

The SD TransFlash cards are available at Circuit City, Best Buy and most retailers that deal in digital cameras and audio gear. There are cards up to 512 mb that are readily available and larger cards that you would have to order. I can carry 4 to 5 CDs on 256 mb card, and can carry several cards in no space at all.

The Slider Sonic is very sweet.

Its pretty sweet I have it with the fully expanded memory I have 15 music videos. Getting a music video converter was hard and illegal but its well worth it. The picture is perfect. Im only dissapointed with the open and close sounds there are only one and the same. Camera flash is a nice flash light if you put it in low light mode. Its worth the money its not going out of style anytime soon.

You can buy max memory right now of 512MB...that will hold hours of music. I have 65 songs on mine right now. Just format the card by putting it in your phone, then either put the card in your media reader on your computer, open the "music file" then drag and drop any mp3s you have into the folder. You can also hook the phone up directly to your computer with the USB cable and access the file that way. MP3s can be found all over the net - just right-click, "save target as" and save into a folder. You can copy music from this folder into the folder of the memory car.

I just got this phone a couple of days ago and it's alright. I've talked on it a few times and the reception wasn't that great. The camera is kind of crappy when not in low light mode.

But my biggest complaint though is that when I connect my phone to the computer, the instructions say it should show up as a removable device....yeah it doesn't. Anyone know what's going on?

I love everything about this phone but the fact I can't transfer pics and stuff from my pc to the phone. There has to be some way of getting in to the internal storage so I can put custom ringtones and stuff on the phone. If this just isn't possible I have to say this phone sucks. Can someone help me?

I have read this entier thread . and not one person has stated how many songs the 32md holds well I'll tell you ....2-4 depending on the length of the song. if you want more you have to buy the bigger trans chip. the phone is on sale at best buy for $79.00. it is a nice phone but the photos are smaller. it works great but i get more dropped calls than i ever have.

To Sum some of QUESTIONS up........ I have had my Sonic Slider for a few weeks, & have read these threads before buying my own... I have musicmatch as my default player on pc, so when I plug my phone in to USB 2.0 port, it has a few things listed, but open the files on the port you connect to your pc(view or open files & then click on my music). Also, make sure that your phone is in file transfer mode..(it will say on your phone screen after plugging in2 the USB port & your phone)!LOL! I just bought a 1 GB for $44.99 w/ a mail(or on-line) rebate for $10.(SanDisk)....I bought a microSD/TransFlash (it will say mobile on the package)...... BE CAREFUL OF WHERE YOU BUY FROM! I looked into Ebay for this, but seen alot of scams..(SOME ARE NOT THE REAL THING!)I purchased mine from a Best Buy. Could not find this phone in a Walmart or Meijer so that's where I went, & it was no longer $79.99 :(. THANK YOU Tonya P. because this phone is so cool! :) ) I already have a super cool contract phone..... but I needed a local #, too. I'd love a Chocalate but not contracted on Verizon wireless soooo this is ultimately the next best phone for the price! ......So there ya go..I sure hope that all this writing helps!!!!
