Boost Mobile intros monthly rate plan

Boost Mobile, a pre-paid carrier aimed at youth partially owned by Sprint Nextel, today announced a new "hybrid prepaid" service dubbed Boost Premium Plan. It adds some of the features most popular with contract plans, but customers have no obligation to continue with Boost Premium Plan.

The new plan is priced at $49.99 per month and is available to all existing and new customers of Boost Mobile. It comes with:

  • Unlimited Walkie-Talkie (Boost uses the Nextel network and iDEN phones)
  • Free night and weekend calling
  • 200 regular time minutes
  • Unlimited web access
  • Unlimited text messaging
