Samsung a970Verizon Wireless today introduced the Samsung SCH-a970, a uniquely designed high-end clamshell. We first saw the a970 back in March and posted a short video.

The Samsung a970 is loaded with features, including:

  • Bluetooth (headsets only)
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • Music player
  • EV-DO high-speed data
  • microSD card slot (also known as TransFlash)

Verizon Wireless is charging $299 for the a970 with a new service contact.

Thank God I a not a CDMA user. WHats i all this cr@p with the bluetoth only working with headsets??? Is Verizon that greedy tat they have t disable the ull bluetooth functions?? Thank God the GSM carriers do that!
