Samsung A970 announced

CTIA 2005 -- Samsung has announced the A970, an innovative clamshell camera phone. The A970 sports a dual hinge that allows the display to sit horizontally while taking pictures. Feature wise, the A970 has:

• EV-DO high-speed data
• Bluetooth
• 2 megapixel camera with video capture and optical zoom
• TransFlash card slot

The carrier is still TBA, but it could be for either Sprint PCS or Verizon Wireless. Look for it in the second quarter.
