AOL launches mobile browsing service

AOL has announced a new mobile browsing service that reformats websites to appear better on mobile devices. This is similar to a service from Google and a handful of independent sites. These types of services have caught some flack with critics because they can strip out advertisements without consent from the publisher.

When searching through AOL.com via a mobile device, the site automatically adapts and returns links that go through the new browsing service.
