LivePlanet announced a multiplayer game called PhoneTag that will be launched exclusively on Amp'd Mobile. PhoneTag will incorporate location based mapping and messaging:
Players must "capture" an assigned target by getting within a predetermined range of it, while avoiding capture. The last player standing wins.
Players will have the option to join existing games organized by Amp'd, play private games with friends, or participate in tournaments.
PhoneTag is expected to launch in the third quarter and will be sold as a monthly subscription. Pricing was not announced.
