CTIA 2006 -- Rocket Mobile's Song IDentity application has been upgraded to version 2.0. The app should be available to Verizon Wireless subscribers soon. Song IDentity allows customers to identify songs playing from any music source (such as a car radio) and purchase the corresponding ring tone.
The new version boasts detection for more than 2 million songs with a 10-second sample. Afer successful recognition it will display the artist, song and album title. Song IDentity should be in the getTONES section of the Get It Now virtual store soon.
