motorola-v195.jpgT-Mobile USA has launched the Motorola V195, an entry-level clamshell that adds a few features to the Motorola V188 (which is still carried by T-Mobile). For a low-end handset, the V195 still packs in most expected features besides a camera:

  • Quadband GSM
  • Bluetooth
  • Instant Messaging (AIM/Yahoo/ICQ)
  • 128×160 pixel 65K color screen
  • Speakerphone

The V195 is priced at a modest $39.99 after a 1-year service agreement and $90 in instant savings.

The v195 is not compatible with iSync for Macintosh OS X so if you're a Mac fan, give it a pass. Supposedly there's some kind of hack out there to bypass this problem but I haven't been able to find it.
