T-Mobile USA launched a second low-end phone this week, the Samsung t209. The other launch was Motorola's V195. The t209 is very similar to the x495 which has been part of T-Mobile's line-up since August 2005.

T-Mobile is selling the handset for $19.99 after a 1-year service agreement and $100 in instant savings. It's available in cherry and silver color schemes.
