Samsung traditionally has the prettiest, most vivid screens of all makers. Too bad this phone sports a lesser screen. Otherwise, it seems to be a really sharp phone.

Amazing phone..... WHAT DO YOU NEED... Because it has it all an MP3 a speaker phone, blue tooth, and its a SAMSUNG!!

I don't understand the stereo bluetooth part. Every stereo bluetooth headset I have seen require the profiles Bluetooth 1.2 supporting A2DP (for music playing) and AVRCP profiles (for remote control), and headset and hands-free profiles which the T629 does not support the A2DP or the AVRCP profiles.

So since it doesn't support those profiles can some one tell me how a stereo bluetooth headset will work with the phone?

Even on the T-Mobile website they don't even mention support for stereo bluetooth.

Its a good phone! Purchased Sept.25,2006. Sreen resolution is not horrible, its actually good. Signal is quality works great all around and is what you would expect from your service provider. Speaker phone is nice but I'm still trying to figure out a quick button to activate the voice recogintion to make commands for text messages, or placing calls; not sure if its possible but it would come in handy when your driving. You should memorize the keys though to text, just to be safe.
Camera quality is a 1.3mega pixel which lets you take 1280x1024 SXGA, 1152x864 Mega, 800x600 SVGA, 640x480 VGA, 320x240 QVGA, 176x144 Moblile pics. So not bad for an 3Q cell phone.
Speaker quality is nice and you can play your MP3 outloud with everyone to take notice, esp. if you use them for your ring tone. The melodies it comes with are nothing to brag about, I don't like them, and you get one HiFi ringer "The Great Divide", from Scott Strapp to Jam out, so get that mini SD card so you can customize your sounds to your personality. I wish it came with one!!!
Battery life is good but if your a power user like that kid in the commericals jabbering...be ready to charge every other day! (Wheres the solar powered phone!
The design of the phone is cool, but two things would be my only grip. Key access after sliding up the phone and not being able to isync. Women with long nails won't like the keys, and the same gos with people with big thumbs. So trying it out before commiting. Updating your address book on a Mac you have to do that manually using the phones bluetooth.
The games are amazing...you can shoot pool, fly a jet, other games. Graphics are cool!
Over all I like the phone allot and don't feel bad about my purchase. Its nice to be different and not walk around with a Razor. Out of all the phones from Tmobile this 3 quarter, this one fits my profile. Nice design, features are good, price with renewed contract excellent. I'm happy until the next Generation phone comes out after two years.

Ibouth this phone the day it came out and it ha been amazing. Everything works great. Great reception and cal qualitly. The only downgrade since the t809 is that this phone no longer has stereo speakers. Instead it had one high quality loud speaker that does the trick.

i bought this fone on the 1st and its amazing. hah i only had it for an hour though because my mom found a better deal. anyway if youre thinking about buyin git well go foe it =]

This phone is sooo good! the screen is great...SAMSUNG is just the best qulitly makers of phones...besides like all those otehr places n china n what not but ull love it the mp3 is soo amazing itll knock ur socks off and one speaker doesnt just shock u....it shocks EVERYONE and makes them want the phone so get it AND FLAUNT IT

I want to get this phone but on the t-mobile website it says that it's sold out and I wanna know where else can I get it! Can some one please help....

I ordered mine from Amazon.com got it for free with a 2 year contract
