Treo 600 quietly appears
Word is
spreading fast that the Handspring Treo 600 has begun to ship in limited numbers from Sprint PCS. Unlike Nokia who is
spending $100 million to market the N-Gage, Handspring seems to be letting the device to all the work.
If you have $599 and want a Treo 600, call up Sprint PCS (1-888-703-9514) quickly as they will surely go fast. Some markets have reported that the Treo 600 is available locally in Sprint stores. It should be available nationwide in a few weeks.
Last month
we noted that Orange would become the first carrier to carry the Treo 600. Sprint PCS is just the first US carrier to stock the unit.
