Music ringtones hot on Sprint PCS
Universal just inked a deal to bring music from its releases to Sprint PCS phones. The company has a similar deal with Sony. In the deal with Universal, several big names came to play including Sheryl Crow and Sting. The ringtones sound like real music, not the cheesy MIDI files that have become mainstream.
In releated news, Beyoncé Knowles has had two ringtones go gold. Both "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy" have sold over 500,000 copies on Sprint PCS.
