Americans want Bluetooth, not video

Jun 04 2004 - 05:16 PM ET | Bluetooth, Push-to-talk
According to a new study released by Strategic Analytics, American consumers would rather have wireless headsets (which are usually powered by Bluetooth) than mobile video or music. Another commonly requested feature is push-to-talk. bq. According to a survey of 1000 mobile phone users in the United States, 54% want a wireless headset for their phone... QWERTY keypads, meanwhile, were of interest to only 13% of those surveyed, while video, music, and games, which current phones push heavily with help from the large media giants, were of interest to less than one in ten users.
