It has been no secret that the Samsung SCH-i730 was heading to Verizon Wireless, but today marks its official launch. Today's launch focuses on business customers, but the i730 will be available to everyone starting July 7th.
The big news is that the phone has kept WiFi as a feature--despite it not being listed on the various sneak promos from Verizon Wireless. Many insiders thought that Verizon Wireless removed WiFi to beef up sales of its data plans.

The i730 retails for $599.99 with a two-year service contract. As stated before, it's currently selling only in business channels with the consumer launch still a few weeks away.
