LG CU320 gets FCC approval, heading to Cingular

Nov 17 2005 - 01:07 PM ET | Cingular, LG Mobile Phone, Rumor

LG CU320While still unannounced, the FCC recently put their stamp of approval on LG's CU320 slider phone. It looks to be headed to Cingular once their 3G network is up and running later this year.

Feature wise the LG CU320 sports:

  • GSM 850/1800/1900 plus UMTS and EDGE
  • 180 degree swiveling 1.3 megapixel camera
  • microSD (formally TransFlash) card slot
  • Bluetooth

No solid word on when the CU320 will ship, but the 3G network is very close to launching.

I wonder if this will launch only in 3G cities or everywhere? Looks neat but I don't live in a 3G town (at least according to the list you posted).
