I think that phone is so cute. I was wondering will it be available with T-Mobile?

phone is ok. terrrible battery. dont expect it to last all day, and besides having trouble getting to my online photos(data communication error) its alright. it has some bugs, hopefully they will have a software update soon. VERY SOON

horrible battery have to charge at least twice a day make sure you use power saver and it might last all day! but other than that it is a very good phone havent had no problems.

I love this phone and everything about it! It would make a perfect christmas gift foreal...

3 hours of continuous talk time...what a joke. Battery life is horrible. Other than that, it is a sharp new gadget.

This phone is pretty slick. I admit, the battery life may not be the best, but that could be due to the fact that I am still messing around with features and the like. I have turned off the 'GPS' feature and disable Bluetooth when I'm not using my headset. We’ll see how that helps.

Aside from some bugs I have found, mostly with Bluetooth headset not connecting properly after disconnecting the device, yet leaving Bluetooth enabled on the phone. Have to disable and re-enable the service on the phone for it to recognize the headset.

The phone takes awesome pictures and the new EVDO network, which is a huge improvement to the normal Vision network, is blazingly fast for phone data. The display is crisp and vivid. It also plays music files which, listening through the phones speakers, really sounds nice. I have yet to try the headphones that came with it, simply because I need to take that accessory back because it looked like someone had already used the headphones (sick)! When the phone is in your pocket, you can't even tell it's there really. The case is very sturdy and it is very comfortable up to your ear. Not to mention they actually give you the USB attachment so you can upload photos and music from your computer. I kind of wish you could do the same with contact information too but, you know, you can’t have everything!!! ;-)

I have had problems with Samsung phones before and am taking my chances going back from Sanyo, but I feel Samsung has come through this time. Aside for the pending firmware update, which you can now do yourself from the phones menu, this phone is awesome!!!

I love the feel and look but product rushed to market. Software still has many glitches. Battery life is terrible and features that are easy to access on many phones are not easily accessed on this one.

just got the phone thru sprint i use to have the treo650 but had to have it serviced and replaced so many times i just gave it away to a friend and got the a900, it doesnt have the synching capabilities that i loved with my treo but it does make up for it in size and crisp images and sounds--- i love this phone and can NOT stop fooling around with the features--- which is why my battery doesnt last (LOL) for those of you complaining about battery life--- you might want to wait till you are charging to fool around with the features=== i find that i actually can talk on my phone for hours if i do

Has anyone had any problems with the menu being slow?

This phone is just o.k. I switched from a Sanyo and sorry I did. My Sanyo "almost" did everything this phone does minus all the glitches. This phone is slow when connecting to internet, the battery lasts a minute, button problems and problems with my menu's delaying. My phone is only two weeks new and hasn't been dropped either. If you have insurance, drop it in the water and get the upgrade. I'm sure Samsung knows about their defected product and complaints about the glicthes and will get a new and better upgrade soon.

I really like this phone,true, the battery isn't worth much, but other than that i have had any major issues. to the girl that said the menu is slow i would say to swith to the list option instead of the icons, that seemed to make a diffrence with my phone.

does anyone know where i can get assesories for this phone?? if i dont get a clip or something ill tear it up in a few weeks...plus my cheap ass didnt want to spend $60 on insurance.

I got the A900 a few week ago, aside from the battery life, i love it. The pictures are clear enough to print, the video is alright, i can download mp3s and music videos from my computer to it, and use them as a play list. The most i've been able to hold at one time was 45. I only wish the memory was larger, 47.3 meg is small, when you think about a 1 gig flash drive would have taken up the same amount of room. Aside from these small problems, i love my new phone.

Just got my a900 and I love the size but I echo the problems! Let's face it. The battery is just ridiculous! If you get a full day out of a charge you are lucky.
If you turn off gps and bluetooth it helps but you have to go through too much toi reconnect to your bluethooth headset. Speaking of which, has anyone noticed that this thing has terrible range for bluetooth???? you can't eeven put it in your pocket without loosing the signal! you'll never get the 20 to 30 feet I got from my T-Mobile IPAQ or my Sony ericsson!

I too am seeing the menu issues as well. slow response time and such. I am seriously thing of taking the phone back and getting something else befor my return policy runs out!

I concur-battery life is horrible. I am in search of an additional battery; anyone know where to pick up an additional battery? Not having luck with my online search. My phone is three days old-and I can't imagine returning it. It's great on so many levels. Knock on wood, but, I have yet to run into any glitches. If any one knows about the battery, I would appreciate the guidance. Thanks.

Note about slow menu response:
I noticed the huge lag in the menu, however just today I installed the software update and it seems to be improved. Update took forever (no ev-do where i am) but it was well worth it!

How do you do your software updates? I thought you were charged by Sprint? Can you do it yourself?

Blade phone has a nice look to it, I'll give them credit for that. BUT...battery on the phone is terriable...I mean HORRIABLE. I had to charge my phone at least 3x a day and it takes forever just to get a full battery. I don't have time to charge my battery 3xs a day. This phone did NOT work for me.

Besides the battery, the icons on the phone tend to slow my phone down and it even sometimes wont let me make phone calls after Ive sent a picture....in that case I have to tuyrn off my phone and re start and that sucks really bad.

This phone is so new to the market that I prefer anyone who wants this phone to WAIT and let it be a while until it becomes famliar to SPRINT and Radio Shack. Barely all the people that I talked to at Sprint and Radio Shack didn't know much about the phone....it was unbelievable. And there are not a lot of things out in the open to update this phone and no one barely knows anything about it.

The reception on my phone is also bad. If you have the phone, you'll know that the antenna is on the bottom of the phone and so that's why it can barely get and reception.

Overall, the Blade phone is a nice feature, but the quality that they put into it was not as nice as the rAzOR phone. I suggest anyone who wants this phone, to wait until people become familar with this phone and if anything goes wrong they know how to fix it and what it needs. Right now its so new to the public that no one barely knows how to fix it and what is wrong with it.

After I got the blade, in just two days I returned the phone for a different phone.

I agree with Cindy up there, EVERYTHING she said about it was true. I too, returned my phone within a couple days b4 my policy ran out. I talked to people about acessories on the phone and all of them told me that there is nothing for the phone yet, what comes with the phone is all you will be getting until new things come out and I'm sure that will be a while.

MY ADVICE:

If you have the phone, return it before you policy of 14 days runs out on you and you are stuck with a bad phone that you hate.

When I first bought the phone I was relieved, I mean gosh I tried everywhere and they were all sold out, and now that I think about it, I was so silly....I should have known.

I have a question, Where can I find the software to connect my phone to the computer to upload songs into it? I've looked everywhere and only found a Korean version of it. Kinda bites that they didn't pack a CD with it. Any ideas??

Here's the deal - Samsung has made tons of phones so they must know how to make a battery that lasts. I have been going crazy about my battery, I have to charge up at least 2 times and always on the car charger, I went to Sprint the Manager was a brat and told me to buy the insurance and then they can send it to be replaced, I must have a defective phone since I already got 2 batteries replaced. The manager at the Sprint store in Scottsdale, Arizona told me that they weren't going to be getting the Software Updates anytime soon!!
So, I figured it out myself!!!
First, turn off the GPS tracking system, that drains the battery by sending your location signals to a satelite whereever you go!

Second, Software Updates are done through your phone, not by the Sprint Store!

Go To Settings, Others, then #8 is Update Phone Software, click on it and it takes 10 minutes and you can't interrupt it so do it at home on your charger when you have time. But, this phone is so new that the Sprint Employees have no idea what the phone does or any of the features! Most Sprint employees haven't even seen this phone yet!

So try this and hope it helps!
If not, get a Sanyo, I know they work perfectly!

This phone is alittle overrated, but decent.
I have to keep disabling & enabling the bluetooth just to get it to fuction properly. But i have one major problem w/ the A900...im a truck driver who depends on MAPQUEST, and guess what? the A900 does not support MAPQUEST ! now that "REALLY" sucks.

im having the same trouble as the person above....i went to www.samsungwireless.com/a900downloan to get the driver for transferring music form the pc to the phone.....when i connect the phone to the pc and try to install the driver, it tells me that the software or whatever has not passed windows xp testing or something like that....has anyone else had a problem like this?.....also, in the music store, i'm told that i have 5 free downloads.....when i try to purchase one, it tells me to go to sprintpcs.com, go to personal info, then authorize content catalog purchases.....i cant seem to find that information anywhere.....any help for either problem would be greatly appreciated

I too encountered lack-luster battery life when I first acquired this phone a week after its initial launch by Sprint. Oddly enough, I found that the more I used the A900, the better the battery life became. After a week or so of use, the battery was holding a charge noticeably longer. The firmware update further increased the battery life and I now rarely lose more than a bar of the battery during my typical workday.

Also, I noticed that “Cindy” commented that the build-quality of the A900 was not as high as that of the Motorola Razr V3. I couldn’t disagree more. The A900 is considerably tighter and simply "feels" more substantial in the hand. I believe that the Razr is a very attractive phone, but even my best friend lamented that his new Verizon Razr feels sort of “toy-like” when compared to the A900. Additionally, the screen resolution and graphical user interface of the A900 simply outpaced the Razr in every measure. I'm certainly not a “cell phone power user”, but I can definitely tell a quality product when I feel it. Say what you will of the phone's firmware quirks, but build quality is certainly not one of the A900’s failing.

Ok i just figured out on how too "Connect To PC" with my phone... I went too Tools/Mass Storage "Connect To PC" now when i pushed the button too connect to my PC it says "New Hardware Found" so it started doing its own thing UNTILL i got too this screen where it said.."Windows is installing the software for your device" and then as soon as it was done...the screen/thing just disapared...And now i dont know what to do...Am i supposed too search my whole Harddrive for the program that it SO-CALLED installed...or what? how...where...what...how do i upload the mp3's now??

Now when i look at my phone after i hit the "Connect to PC" my phone says in big text "Connected To PC Call Disabled" What do i do now?? there is no program up and running for me too drag an mp3 into it and have my phone read the mp3 and ask me if i want too upload it too my phone.

I even tryed right clicking on a mp3 file to see if there was anything that said "Upload too phone" but i dont see anything.. Help please.

I went into "My Computer" and when too "Control Panel" and went into "Add New Hardware" it detected the "USB MMC Storage" so i clicked on it too reinstall the driver and it was saying that "No Driver Files Are Required Or Have Been Loaded From This Device" So i hit "Update Driver" in the bottom left corner..and it brought me too 2 choices...

1.) Search For A Better Driver Than The One Your Device Is Using Now. (Recommended)

2.) Display A List Of All The Drivers In A Specific Location, So You Can Select The Driver You Want.

so i picked the 1st choice and i have 4 options here...

1.) Floppy Disk Drives

2.) CD-ROM Drive

3.) Microsoft Windows Update

4.) Specify A Location

And in #4's box this was there already "D:\Drivers\WIN98"

So when i did THAT one (#4) it said "Windows Was Unable To Locate A Driver For This Device" "If you do not want too install a driver now, Click Yes" So i did and nothing happend....

HOW DO I FIX THIS..please..what am i supposed too put into the box instead of "D:\Drivers\WIN98" ????

because my phone didint come with a disk or a CD. so im guessing #4 was my only Choice.

Battery life is good if you consider what all we’re doing with this phone. I think my battery would stay up for days in standby. However, it’s way too cool to leave it alone. I’ve listened to mp3’s for hours and not lost one bar on my battery life. You should know that if your running windows ME, 2000, or XP you just hook the USB cable to your computer and then go to the menu > tools > Mass Storage > Connect to PC. After that you should be able to find a new "drive" in My Computer, or you get that box that comes up asking whether to play these files, or view these pictures etc.. I just tell it to open as a windows folder. If you get to this new "drive" (and you should) you will see 5 more folders… BLUETOOTH which has a sub folder named “ftp” which is where files downloaded from other BLUETOOTH devices will go…so far as I can tell…then you should have a DCIM folder which will contain picture and probably video files you have saved to you phone??? That’s my guess anyway. Then there is a folder called “filestore” I’m not sure about this one but I think it’s just data having to do with music you’ve downloaded form the “Music Store.” (This folder should probably be left alone, however, if anyone gets to playing around, which is how I know what I know, and learns something new, please let us all know, thanks.) The other two folder are MEDIA and MUSIC. I first dragged some MP3’s from my computer to the MUSIC folder on my phone. This was a mistake and I could only play them from the “Music Store.” So I deleted the files I had copied to the “Music” directory and those files only, (be sure not to delete music downloaded from the “Music Store”, if any, which should only be in this directory. (I think anyway) I then copied the mp3 files from my computer to the MEDIA directory and found this to be right. After doing this, go to the menu and select the Media Player then select Mass Media. The songs will show up to be played like an MP3 player. The screen will go to screen saver mode if you want and the battery will play for a long time, and you will be able to take calls too. I’m keeping my "Blade" thank you very much. Also, I should tell you all that at the Samsung website you will find accessories for this phone in stock and cheap. I ordered a leather holder and car charger and it came to $30.11. Hope this helps. I am just a A900 user and this info is just what I have discovered while playing around, your mileage may very.

Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the software vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing....any ideas would be greatly appreciated

grgbrss, All you need is windows XP and thats it... You dont need to install NO driver AT ALL.

Once you plug your USB cord into your phone and then ur PC...someonething should pop up saying new hardware...just KEEP HITTING CANCEL...you dont need NOTHING TO BE INSTALLED and once you hit cancel go to your phone and go into Tools/Mass Storage/Connect To PC and BOOM thats it....once you do that go into "My Computer" (IN YOUR PC) and you should see another drive in there...thats maybe marked like "Removable Drive" and go into there...and then "FOLLOW MARKS INSTRUCTIONS"

Mark, I have a question for ANYONE...does anyone know how too..well... When i upload a picture from my PC too my phone..its fine..but it shows like wide screen...it doesint show like the "preset images" that comes with the phone...does anyone know how too make the picture bigger on the phone?? On all my other phones i had the option to either make the picture Wide Screen or Full Screen...full screen meaning cover the WHOLE background wallpaper of the phone....but when i try too do that with an uploaded picture it only covers HALF WAY and my clock blends in with the white when i open the phone and it's sometimes hard too see....

Does anyone know a way i can go into settings or tools on the phone too change this??

I was ALSO wondering...when i connect my USB cord too my computer and i upload pictures from my Computer too my phone...i usually drag them into the folder "DCIM" and then i can view them there...but how come i cant set them too be my background?? I mean i dont really care because i go too "funformobile" too upload my pictures too actually be my ScreenSavers...but when i do that i cant Zoom or do nothing else with the picture...and my main problem was how can i make the picture be as big as the "preset Images" to cover the WHOLE wallpaper of the phone with a picture i uploaded..?

But another thing was...when i connect the usb too my phone and computer WITHOUT using "funformobile" and upload pictures too the "DCIM" folder in my phone..how come i cant set them as background images for my phone.

Ha ha.. I have had my fone for awhile. I love it..but really the battery does last a while. YOU HAVE TO TURN OFF THE BLUETOOTH!!! Then it will last a lil longer... really. So I spent like forever trying to get songs on my fone... I couldn't. So I am gonna call the company and I will repost what happends when I yell at them.

so i recorded some things using the really cool camcorder feature, but the file type is something weird like ".3g2"... cant find a program to support/play this type of file. has anyone had luck in finding a ".3g2 to .avi" or ".3g2 or .dvd" converter program?

Question for Mark - how many mp3 songs can you download the way you mention (connect to PC - transfer to MEDIA folder)? I only got about 12, then it said it was full. Is this really all I can store, or is there a trick?

So, is there any fix for the glitches in this thing? I don't like the fact that my menu is ridiculously slow in opening when the "menu" button is pushed and when trying to go from option to option no matter which style I use and the fact that the phone has frozen twice after taking pictures and had to have the batter removed.

I just got the phone today, i like how small it is but the sound is shitty when talking on it. I got it to replace my treo 650, which was too huge, but even that thing sounded better when talking on it!

kathy....you have about 47mb worth of memory for your music.....you can usually get a minute worth of playing time per mb....so whether there are 12 songs 4 mins each or 6 songs 8 mins each, you'll only have room for about 47 mins for listening....as far as support for playing the videos, i have no idea....havent even messed with the video recording yet....i've been completely satisfied with the new phone.....the battery life isn't as lasting as previous phones, but that isn'y much of an issue for me.....everything does seem to get a little better as you update the phone and the gps and bluetooth are cut off

hey guys. i like the phone. i haven't even had problems with the battery. my only problem is that last night i conected it to my computer thru bluetooth. everything went perfectly, i was even able to transfer an mp3 onto my phone. here the problem started. i can't find the mp3 in my phone. i see that it's taking up 1.7MB of space but i can't see it in the media player or in any of the folders. so i cant even delete it cuz i can't see it. of course, i can't play it either. any idea?

Kathy when u compressed make sure u compress too either 64bit or 80bit...i prefer 80bit so that way it sounds good and it's less room....just look for a profram too Encode Mp3's...i used RazorLame...but u need to do sum other stuff that ONLY my bro knows about too encode files with it...he hooked me up.

BTW EVERYONE....when u have ALOT of pictures in your "My Albums" directory in the "Pictures Menu" it seems too crash whenever u go there...so try not too have alot of pictures or videos with this phone...i just found dat out.

I was putting sum pictures from my comp too my phone and then i went into "My Albums" (So i can set the picture i want too be my ScreenSaver/BackGround) and then it crashed EVERYTIME...meaning the phone would turn off and then turn back on. IT SUCKS! that it does this.

Can someone please tell me..why is it EVERYTIME i upload a picture from my cpu too my Phone..and i go into Menu/Pictures/My Albums and then i go too look at the pictures it just shows me a "Red X" on the picture....??? I cant even view the pic because there is a "Red X" on the spot where the picture was supposed too be... BUT then when i hook the phone up too my computer (Using the USB) and i go into the folder where i put the picture...it shows that its in there fine..and i can even view the pic.

Love the phone. Wish this phone could do PowerPoint presentations like the Treo700. Poor battery life. Trouble w/ Bluetooth range (and unidentified noises constantly in my ear from the Bluetooth headset).

this phone is a love hate thing. terible problems with lagging menues , cant access any thing on the vision home page, did the update two days ago and it worked great for 24 hours then it went back to its usless self

grgbrss: Place pictures from your pc in the DCIM\100SSMED folder and your can view them from "My Albums". (save them in say the DCIM folder-not 100SSMED-and they don't show up in "My Albums". See below)

I keep reading post from people who complain about their menu icons moving slow and I think it might be worth mentioning that perhaps you have your phone in "Power Save Mode".
Goto: Settings>Display>Backlight>Pwr Save Mode. If this is "On" it may be the cause for the slow response.

Kathy: Quicktime will play your videos. I downloaded the free player and soon upgraded to the "Pro" version. Now I can save my long videos (or short) to my PC, they play fine with Quicktime. Also, your question about MP3s "grgbrss" is right. Most media players will let you set the bit rate to save your MP3s.

Da Akuma: I have been playing around with the wide screen/full screen thing too. Mine does okay, check your resolution settings. 1.3MP might you the full screen I think your looking for. There is the option to display in Wide or Full screen.

Today I found out you can view picturs from the TOOLS>MASS STORAGE>FILE MANAGER>DCIM If you have saved JPGs just highlight them and press the OK button. From here you can zoom in (using the up & down button on the side of the phone), pan around, and rotate the picture for your viewing pleasure. They can not be view from "My Alblum" in the picture menu.

I've had my a900 for over a month and generally love it. I found that by turning off the GPS my battery life went from almost a day to over 3 days, so that's the trick to making the phone usable. However, I can't figure out what good the GPS feature does anyway. You can't see your position anywhere? I don't care to have people tracking me, not that I think they are. And if I understand correctly the GPS still works if you call 911. What's up here?

Agree- battery life needs a lot to be desired for. Otherwise- this phone is the real deal, bar none. Fast processing of info, bells and whistles galore. Additional battery(s) can be found on the 'net. Definitely an attention getter. Samsung's LCD amongst the best in the biz.

Okay.. in order to listen to your MP3s you have to upload the files to the Media folder in the mass storage drive.. then to play them go to 9. Media Player and select mass storage from the menu.. good luck

I use the phone as a modem to connect to the net. When I use the USB cable the connection manager software recognize the phone and works pretty good, but when I try to connect using bluetooth, connection manager doesnt recognize the phone. Does anybody knows how to use the bluetooth instead of the USB cable to connect a laptop to the net? My phone is paired to my laptop and connected, but connection manager still doesnt recognize it!!

OK. i finally found my way into transfering mp3s from pc to phone. Halaluah!! now the next daunting, if not impossible task ... how would one get those mp3s as a ring tone if one were inclined to do so?

I hate to make this blog sound like a broken record, but the battery life is HORRIBLE! They claim a 3 hour digital talk time. Mine ran out after only half that time. Do yourself a favor, go to EBay and get yourself a second battery. Runs around $45 including S&H.

I have read most of the reviews and complaints and I thank you all. I do have to ask if anyone is using a bluetooth and having problems with it ringing when there is no phone call. I have two of the phones and both headsets will start ringing for no reason at and will not stop. the only way to clear the ringing is to make a call, let it connect and then hang up the phone. I thought that I maybe got two bad phones from the same lot but I traded for another and am still experiencing the same problem. The worst part is that it sometimes happens when I am talking on the phone and I have to hang up to make it stop. I have also tried different headsets and no luck yet. Samsung will not recognize the problem so the frustration grows. Looking forward to any input.

I didn't have any problems with my battery until I started using my car charger. When I bought the phone the guy mentioned something about not using a car charger. But I never had problems like this before with other phones so I bought the car charger a few weeks later.

I'd like to know if everyone that's having battery problems is using or has ever used a car charger with this phone.

I have been using an offbrand car charger for about a week, and have noticed any chang. Actually, my battery is better than when i first got it. Has not died on me since day 2 !

If you have not figured out how to play your songs that you upload from your computer once it is uploaded just click on music and goto player. it will have your uploaded files. there to listen to. I just hope my battery starts working better soon..

OK, I'm having a camera problem. When I aim the lens to the back of the computer, the image on my screen appears upside down. This was not the case for the first week I owned the phone. I don't see any reference to this functionality in the user's manual, so I have to assume the internal gyroscope has failed. Am I missing something?

re: camera problem. Simply push the volume up/down button on the left of the phone ... this will flip the image right-side-up.

I'm now using the phone for 48 hours without recharge the battery. I did turn off the bluetooth and GPS. Took about 4 charging cycles until the battery last that long.

Just rename MP3 to "3gp" before sending to phone.
It's important that you go to Tools-> Folder Options-> View and disable "Hide extension for known file types" so you can change MP3 to 3GP.

I have all the stuff I need to get music on the phone with one little problem... when I tried to upload a song from my PC it wasn't a format recognized by the phone (I uploaded a regular music file, not an MP3). The file is actually on the phone, just unusable. Anyone know what kind of music file it needs to be and how I can convert a music file I already have to this file type? Thanks!

To get and MP3 on the a 900 follow these steps:

1.) Attach USB to phone and PC.

2.) Forget the Drivers. Just Attach both ends.

3.) With a900 connected to PC:

Hit Menu
9-1-1
4.) Open My Computer on PC desktop.

5.) Find Drive that represents a900.

6.) Double Click Drive to discover 5 folders.

7.) Now simply drag music stored on your PC
into the music folder on the a900.

Re: the SUB LCD time not changing. I had this problem a couple times. I changed the LCD i was using from the orange one to the blue one, turned it off for a few minutes, turned it back on & problem solved. Not sure what was causing that... I assume a known bug.

I noticed the outside LED stays bright red while charging. Is there any way to turn it off? Also, the sub LCD 'dims' after a few seconds but still stays rather bright IMO. Is there any way to get it to dim more?

ok so my phone went psycho today. someone called me while i was sleeping, and i had my phone opened because my alarm on it was set. So It would be easier to hit the snooze button.

The phone froze once someone called me, and my ringtone just kept playing. It wouldnt turn off nothing would work. I tryed taking out the battery and it still kept going.

It was SEAN PAUL SONG. Playing over and over and over and over again for like 10 minutes. I deleted that ringtone. I never wanna hear it again.

That was crazy I never had a phone do that before, and i think im gonna get a different phone which really sucks because i had really liked this phone. But its like fricking crazy!

To use an mp3 as a ringtone, you have to upload it to the seperate space reserved for ringtones and wallpaper. I guess sprint and samsung didn't want you to be able to make ur own ringtones and not pay them more money. go to funformobile.com and upload ringtones to your phone there.

it's free by the way, click on upload ringtones to your phone and you can use your mp3s as ringtones. One thing, that reserved space is only about 8 mb so i would use a free program like mptrim (mptrim.com) to cut out the 30 second part of the song you want for the ringtone. ~peace

I did the upgrade on my phone of 15 days and turned off the location (GPS) function. Ironically, with all the talk of low battery life, it said I could not upgrade because I did not have enough battery life... Please recharge first!! Found that ironic! Since the upgrade, what a HUGE difference!. Originally I too had all the problems as folks above. Now most problems are basically solved. The only things I am still disappointed in are the Bluetooth connection & range and overall battery life. Although battery is 100% better now, it still could be better. But, it is now good for at least a full day so I am satisfied. As for Bluetooth... the upgrade fixed the quirks but the range is horrible. I cant even have the phone my hip pocket and, pretty much have to have the phone and bluetooth headset within a foot, maybe three for clear reception. Also, folks I am talking to complain of a buzzing noise on my voice. Other than that... the phone is super!!

I got my phone 3 days ago and I thought I would love it but I have already taken back one to get it replaced. I was having issues with it freezing and shutting off. Now I have a new one its been better but now it has started to drop calls and shut off by itself. I am debating on whether I should take it back or not. This is the only reason I switched to Sprint in the first place. It also wont let me see my pictures that people send me without paying for it. that is stupid.

If you use your Samsung a900 to browse the internet, you might want to get Opera Mini, for me it works flawlessly. Much better than one that comes with the phone. It works just like a regular internet browser, But mini. You can surf any website, display photos, download attachments. Its great for MySpace.com... also i like Google Local another free download, it works great on my a900 its got satalite maps, road maps, directions, local seach, zoom. Whenever i am showing off my phone at work, i always show them the satalite view of our building and zoom in... they are amazed by it...

I have the phone for 12 days now and I have no compliants, a few things a different from my LG phones. The battery life is low so I walk with a charger on weekends if i am going to be out for the day. Otherwise I have no other complaints for now ( I have 2 days left before my trial period ends, wish me luck!!! :-)

well i dont have the phone, im getting it tommorow, i guess if you want to set your phones ringer as an mp3 you should go to a place where you can set it to loud, silent, vibrate etc.. and probably ghange your ringtone on a menu next to it? dont expect it to work though because i dont have the phone =/

forget the post above...there is no way to get mp3's as ringtones because its sprints retaliation in order for people to buy from it's music store.

there is a way to get around this, i found it on another forum...

All you have to do is use a program to cut the length of the song(i dont have a program but if you are familiar with any just reply to this)to about 30 seconds

Then export it to iTunes, and then convert it to AAC format(in iTunes, select the clip of the song, then click on Advanced, and then Convert to AAC Format)

then, go to this site and send the media through the website to your phone, and then save it to your phone and then you can use it to play as your ringtone

This is so true I found a program that lets u cut any part of a song to make it into ringtones.. Then I found a program that lets you send the tones to your phone as a text message. I finally filled my phone with them. The best tone should be no more then 35-40 seconds long. Yet the problem i am having is putting the actually songs on the phone. Im confused on how to put them in the mass storage and not in the music folder where they have been going. What am i doing wrong? Am i just clicking the wrong folder?

are you having a problem just getting the music into the folder and playing it or trying to get the music into a specific folder? because i think you can only play mp3's from the music in the special music folder

Thanks to Mark I am now Playa Status. Battery life is not a sufficient enough factor to downgrade a phone's funtionality. I got tired of trying to convert my mp3's to ringtones: Just go to URL: 3Gforfree.com to get decent sounding music clips to use as ringers.

I bought the a900 on 021806 and by 022306 i was back in the their store with technical issues. My phone freezes everytime I start bringing up picture's arcived and turn on the camera, it turns itself off and back on. I returned the phone to spring with no avail, they gave me a new one and Im still having the same issue... don't know if its worth giving up and going back to my old erricson..

do yourself a favor gixxer, return your phone before the 14 days expire... and go to costco to buy an a900 there... i bought mine there for $170 activation was free, and they gave me a car charger, leather case, and an earbud handsfree device for free... i havent had trouble with it yet, but the thing that i really like about costco is that you can return the phone there anytime you need it to be replaced under any circumstances(unless its been dropped) for free while you still have your receipt

I got the A900. Its pretty good. Battery life as many people complain is aweful. I transfered music files from my friend using bluetooth. I got them in my phone but they would not play. It says "format file by fileviewer". Does anyone know how to fix that. And also how to put music files from my PC to the phone?

hey everyone thats having prblems sending music to the phone via the computer. ull need afew things. 1) windows xp or 2000
2) connect the phone usb to the computer. then go into tools and click on "connect to pc"
when this is done go into ur music folder and right click on the song. it shjhould say copy ( very good if u have kazaa or itunes or limewire). and select copy.
4 u then go into my computer into the drive that pooped up usually drive e or f and paste it in the music file.

2. Open your preferred MP3 song with it.

3. Cut the part of the song you'd like as

All you have to do is press the volume button on the left side of the screen and that will change the picture rightside up. This is a feature so you can take your own picture if you move the camera lens to you.

I do have a question about videos though. What format do they have to be in to play?

I've learned a lot since my last post. I figured out how to play videos. When you record a video with the camcorder on the phone, it saves it as a *.3g2 (3gp) so I'm guessing that's the best format to use when converting videos. The problem is I can't find a free program that isn't just some 15 day trial or something. I could use help with that.

Secondly, what's the best format to use when converting audio? The Sprint Music Store mentions *.aac so I'm guessing that's a good version to use. I refuse to buy and download a song just so I can see what format it is. :|

if you want an uploaded song (thats from your PC) to play in your media player you have to..

1st. upload the song

2nd. restart the phone

3rd. upon restarting the phone go to media player and select mass storage.

BAm your music is there

^^^^^^^^^^Yup. If you put the file in the music directory, you have to go to the Sprint Music Store to play it on their player. If you put it in the media directory, you can play it using the media directory.

Here is something interesting...I have been looking for free ringtones and what not without getting online with my phone for a while now. I found that if you do a video ringer it will play the audio that it records as the ring tone. If you cover the camera so it doesn't record anything (but darkness or whatever) but let the mic pick up music that you are playing at the time it will be your ringtone. I know this might sound stupid or what not but if you really want a tone that sounds ok you can do that with any section of any song. FYI

Well, with the usb cord you and load pictures on your computer that you took with your camera and you can also put songs on your phone. After hooking up the usb go to Menu, Tools, Mass Storage and then Connect to PC in order to move files.

Hi; just a quick note: GPS doesn't send your position to a satellite; it receives it *from* a satellite. Also, I don't think GPS can be actually turned off -- it's there so the government can track your position. If you read the menu prompt, you'll see that setting Location to "off" will make it so that the Sprint network services such as On Demand can't make use of your location, but "Turning location off will disable the GPS location function for all purposes EXCEPT 911" (emphasis mine).

Ok, I am trying to put a pic of my neice on my phone from my comp. I have done it before and it worked great. But this time when i go into my album after adding it comes up as a red x where the pic should be. I tried resizing it changing file format, i just am stumped. Any help would be great. Thanks

I have had my phone for now about a week and a half and my battery life SUCKS BIG TIME!!! I can get on my phone for anywhere from 20 - 30 minutes and its already dying after coming off the charger fully charged. I think sprint need to make a recall on there Samsung A900 series cause this is a significant problem that needs to be looked at as a URGENT MATTER!!! so we need to speak up and out about these problems. Other than the battery I love my phone...

I agree, the battery was bad at first but once you get to normal use and aren't using all the cool features all the time it does well. Another thing is that if you are in an area where the phone is constantly looking for signal the battery will die in no time.

Thanks for the step by step instrucitons, however I'm having problems downloading the file. "Go To URL" is not an option when I open a text message. I tried to type in the web address myself and was given an "invalid URL" message from the phone.

Well Bob, you need to make sure that when you transfer your song files that you put them in the media folder of your phone. After this you will be able to play them from your mass storage device

Jaydahug, once you have the phone connected to the computer you can to go My Computer and open the phone as an external device. It should be E: or something like that. After you open that you should be able to simply drag songs into the Media folder.

The A900 has many flaws. If you are trying to make a call and receive an incoming call, the phone will lock up. You have to remove the battery to turn it off. The battery life is short. When sending a text message the space feature doesnt always work. Finally I paif $119 for the best bluetooth avail, but the reception on this phone stinks. They should recall this phone. I dont recommend the A900 Samsung.

If you are making an outgoing call while recieving an incomming it freezes.

for all those people thats having a hard time playing the mp3s on their samsung A900after you upload an "MP3" to your music folder in your mass storage,..... go to the mane menu of the phone the go to music, let it load all the way to the music store then hit the left button to go to the tab saying "player" then hit " all my music " and it should show your songs, you can creat a playlist and then just hit play and enjoy

Hey this is my first post and I have question. I have successfully downloaded about 10 songs from my computer to the phone but I don't know how to put videos or pictures on my phone. Could anyone help me out with this many of you are way smarter than I am at this. Thanks!

You can put pictuers on your phone by hooking it up to your computer and opening the phones folder called DCIM and then open the folder called 100SSMED and you can delete picters from there put them on your computer and add them to your phone

TIP: for thos of you who are having problems hooking up your phone to your computer FIRST you hook up your phone open the menu on your phone go to tools then mass storage the connect to pc and it will connect on its own

and to put music on your phone put the music in your media folder

NOTE: it will only play MP3 format songs

well i have had it and no menu problems and if the song is a mp3 format then it should be fine but just becaus u can play the song on a mp3 player dose not meant the song is mp3 format to check the for mat of a song right click the song file and click proportys and it should say (file type:mp3) or it wont work and no u cant use voice recordings or songs as ringtones if you have any more ?s email me at michael_price1990@hotmail.com

So basically, all I'm hearing for the major knocks on this phone is the battery life. As a high school student who doesnt use his phone that much, I'm thinking that I should be okay with the decision to buy one. Just to confirm, the ways to maximize battery life are:
1. Disable Bluetooth (I wouldn't use it anyway)
2. Disable GPS (Though I don't know... is it neccessary in any way?)
3. Upload new software every now and then.

Yes justin you are right if you disable blue tooth it will last longer and i am in high school i have the GPS location on and i can talk for 3 houres and i am fine i have never had it die on me yet but if u want it for the MP3 player i wouldent get it cus when listing to music it will not tell you when some one calls sends them straghit to voicemail

MP3 TO RINGTONE SHORTCUT!!!

1. Get the song you want to be the ringer of your computer.

2. Go to www.smashthetones.com and register.

3. Click Mega/Real tones in the upper right.

4. Follow the directions to all the free ringtone goodness you can handle.

This site will splice the song where you want it, name it what you want on your phone, then upload it to your phone(where your phone will ask you if you want the mp3 to be a ringtone or whatever you want), ALL FOR FREE.

Instead of trying to simply click on the music in the media folder(where mp3'2 should be stored), OPEN THE MEDIA PLAYER FIRST, the music will already be in there in the playlist. Hope this helps.

Ok. So I don't know if anyone reads these (i mean, I did). I love the A900, but can not for the life of me figure out how to download file or mp3s to the phone from my compy. i did not recieve any software and the computor does not recognise the phone once its plugged in.

why does the screen and sub lcd screen always stay on whenever I close my phone? I have the screen to go off in 8 seconds, but it stays on all the time. plus, since I just got the phone, it says theres no update availiable.

I think I fixed the problem in my above post. Apparently you can't have your own custom screensaver/mini lcd screen background. Kind of defeats the purpose in even having one.

At a Best Buy store with one of those Sprint centers in it two weeks ago, a young guy who was working there told me not to buy this phone - rather, he said that i should wait until sometime in June, when they would be releasing (re-releasing i guess) this phone with a better battery and the new firmware. Any truth to that? Does anyone know anything or has heard anything about an improved battery?

Of course the ever talked about battery problem but hey I keep a charger with me so its not really that big of a problem . As far as memory goes I have 26 songs and can probably put 20 more. THE way I did this was to reduce quality (sprint phone has exelent sound quality so it doesnt really effect the music) and convert it to mp3. Before I did that I could only fit 8 songs on.

I download mp3 from the internet and generly they are around 3-5mb. I open Apple's Itune import .mp3 into Itunes, select the song and covert it to .AAC at 64kpbs. Song will be coverted to .AAC file at aprox. 1mb. I Can fit 40-50 songs on my A900 Blade. With Itunes I also make ringtunes. Goto www.sprintusers.com they have great info for the A900 Blade. Love the Phone, battery does need work.

at first, i loved this phone. unfortunately, i've been unable to upload files from my computer directly to the phone. my computer fails to recognize the samsung software--it's not microsoft approved--and everytime i connect i via USB cord, i get an error msg. i've been online looking for a solution but have not found one. tech support at sprint is unable to provide me with a solution either. my batter life is low at times, it comes and goes. the voice volume fades in/out during calls.

I just bought this phone and can anyone tell me why when I make an outgoing call the phone rings just once like I have an incoming call? I mean everytime I dial I put the phone to my ear and it rings first like a call is coming in then it will ring like it should just in the earpiece. It's extremely annoying. I think the phone sucks and Im in to 2 months having it and its starting to face issues. It powers off EVERY time I close the phone. Wont even start without the charger and when I take the charger off of it, it shuts off immidiately. Im really getting irritated. This has been a babied phone and at this point, I dont think it was worth the money. Is anyone else having problems like this? I was hoping maybe there was a recall so I can get a different one. Usually, when engaging the headset via the stereo jack... the music coming from the external speakers should be re-routed into the headset... no?

When plugging in my headset... I get music coming from BOTH the headset and external speakers and this is quite aggravating since the whole purpose of using a headset is for privacy.

Personally I love this phone! As long as you disable Bluetooth and put powersave mode on, I can go like 2 days w/o recharging battery. I haven't figured out how to reformat mp3 songs to fit more than 8 on it but I have an ipod so I don't care much. My only issue is that you can't add words to T9 memory! This is so annoying as I have to switch back and forth from the alpha and T9 every time a word isn't recognized! Anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

hi i have the a900 and really like it. the only problem is when i try to download a ringer off the phone it will attempt to connect to the internet and then it will say network busy try again or it will say incorrect username or password when i never even created one. Also if i try to update the phone it won't work and will tell me to try again. I contacted sprint and they told me it should work but it won't what can i do to fix this problem.

Alrite.. i got the A900 and i followed all of the instructions of how to put mp3s on the phone.. i put them in the MEDIA folder and when i go to open them up on the phone to play them.. the error Unsupported Document Format by Fileviewer.. so i read what people have posted.. and i converted it to ACC+ file to see if it worked.. and placed the acc+ song into MEDIA folder.. once again same error.. can someone plz help me... email me at mystery.8@hotmail.com

When i get missed alerts or alerts that are happening right then in there my phone lights up and all but there is no sound. The red light blinks and the screen lights up but the ringtones i set it to be wont sound at all nor does it vibrate. I even have my ringer on Level 8 with vibrate on and when people call me the ringer works but text messaging and etc wont ring.

How do you get music on your A900?

Here's my take on the phone. I just got it about 3 days ago and I've already pretty much figured everything there is to know about it out, mostly by way of reading through this page here and applying what you all have said works and not etc. I too have already expierienced the freezing up but when I took the screensavers I uploaded from my PC off it seems to work fine now. I want to quickly move on to the battery because I've read alot about it and most of what I've read is bullshit. First off, you have to consider what this is...this isin't a Sanyo with just a few lights, this is a phone that is rigged to the T with bells n' whistles. MP3, 1.3MP cam n' 30 sec. 'corder, internet, you all know what this thing does. How much juice do you think it takes to run something like that? Stop bashing the battery on it..it's actually pretty good. The 3 hour countinous talk time they advertise isin't false either as I've put it to the test recently 2 consecutive nights. Both times I talked (with the phone unplugged) for 3 full hours until my battery beeped on me notifying me that it was ready to go. All you have to do to get that talk time out of your a900 is charge the thing..it's not difficult. You know..until the little light turns green?? Half ass charging gets you half as lifetime, simple as that. I also gotta say the new PowerVision internet on this thing is FAST. I'm on eBay, google, Y! Messenger, etc all the time on the net service on this phone is amazing. I use it all the time. The screen on the a900 is amazing of course as it's a Samsung, very large and bright, even when set at the lowest brightness level. The only thing I'm really dissapointed about with this phone is the fact that it doesn't have expandable memory which to me makes no sense at all as they were hailing it as an all out MP3 playing dream...which it is but for that you need memory and always having only about 45mb of memory to work with is pretty tough when trying to squeeze those MP3's on there. If you don't convert them then you'll only get about 6-12 songs on the phone. As each MP3 you download is usually 3-5mb in size. Get iTunes and go to edit...preferences...advanced...under import using select AAC Encoder and set the bitrate to custom @ 64kbps. Now to the iTunes player and select from your library the songs you want to convert. They'll be converted and will now be around 1-2mb. This way you can get ALOT more songs onto your a900. When you pull the little cover for the charger/USB connector out, The cover moves away but i still get in the way of the charger so both the clips don't click in. Can you pull the cover out or what?

my sister just got this phone, and i got the new Fusic by LG, they are both the same pretty much, design is different of course, but mine has the expandable memory slot. it comes with the 64mb card with it, which is the same as the a900 has built in, i just figured out, thanks to gngstanip, that converting it does save alot of space, a comedy clip i had was 14mb and now its 4, its amazing, now i can add so much more, when i get my 1GB sd card its gonna be my Ipod substitute. i like the buttons, its awesome. out the box it lasted me almost the whole day, today is my first day of full battery, its already 3pm and ive been listening to mp3s called some friends and it still has all its bars. i love it. recommend it over the blade if you dont mind giving up style points, havent found a good case for it yet though, ive been looking non-stop. sorry its off topic somewhat, but i figure it will help some people looking for this phone more for its mp3 than anything else, go with the Fusic. I just got the phone. I haven't used it just checking out the features it looks pretty cool. As far as the battery life buyin the better battery may help they are really affordable on ebay or amazon.

when i upload photos from my computer they show up in my album and i can set them as photo IDs. Everything works fine until I recieve a call, the photo ID looks great on the SubLCD screen but on the main LCD screen all I can see is the very top of the picture. I tried to make the picture smaller so I could see the whole thing on the main screen, but nothing has worked. can anybody tell me how to fix this?

If anyone says the Razr is a better phone, they are a jackass. The only problem that's developed with my blade is this stupid thing that's happening with incoming calls. You see, It'll vibrate a couple times before it begins ringing, perhaps because it is buffering the audio; seriously, cosmetic to me. But I've got my phone set up so that I can flip it open without the auto-answer feature, and as soon as I do the call drops and I get my missed call menu.

I think it may be a hardware issue, so I'm paying the $50 lockline deductable to get a new one.

Oh, and for you idiots that don't know how to take care of a Lithium Ion battery, just give it up. How do you afford your plans when you're on the phone ALL DAY? You must wear your battery completely down at least once a week before recharging it COMPLETELY! Those cells that make up the battery will crystalize if not taken care of properly and that's what ruins your battery life. STUPID.

Can you get a dual battery for the A900?

i have a problem transferring pictures from my PC to my A900. I've followed instructions from previous posts and they havn't worked @ a all. here what i've done so far:
Connected my phone to pc via usb cable, copy and pasted my pictures from my pc to the 100SSMED folder. i've restarted my phone multiple times after that and all i keep getting is a red "X" in My Albums. I had the same problem Steve. What you need to do is set on of the "red X" pictures as your background, then restart your phone. The screen saver should restart with the selected screensaver. The only problem I had was that I could not decifer which picture was which. =D

In case anyone is hating this phone for it's lack of space to store mp3s, i think i may have found a solution. Sprint who is the only carrier for the blade stores an extra 200mb of storage on the phone just to store items bought from the sprint store (ringers, screensavers, stuff like that). Reading up online, i found out that the phone can be hacked and this storage can possibly be used for storage. Just throwing the idea out there because i can't figure out how, but it IS possible. Maybe one of you can.

It seems to be doing the work, but at the end it says failed. I don't know which of the phones is failing. The one that I have the most problem trying to figure out is the blade. Any suggestions?!

spaz, first of all the blade has 54mb of storage, not 47mb. secondly, think about this. when you buy ringers from sprint, where is this stored? its not stored in the 54mb where the phone stores your personal mp3s, where could it possible be? this phone has much more memory then you think, its just a matter of cracking a code and using the memory for something sprint obviously did not want the user to have on the phone without paying a price. figure it out and email me.

in case anyone is still having battery after turning off both bluetooth and gps, do this. while charging it, when the green light displays which means the charging is done, unplug the charger and put it back in. after doing this my phone has charged for another half hour before the green light displays again. my phone has stayed on for 3 days before the battery dying, including taking calls, and playing music. hope this helps.

Okay so i got music oon my phone but when i try to play it, it says "unsupported document format by fileviewer." Does anyone know how to fix this?

HAHAHA... i figured out how to set up mp3's as ringtones without acessing the internet... thats right for free! it's reallly simple... if you think about you will figure it out..

and i do not mean playing back a mp3 that you record as a video on the phone, its good quality

Try putting your songs in Tools - Mass Storage - File Manager - Media. Don't add any of your songs to the DB Folder. It should work from there.

Does listening to music on your phone for about an hour hurt it's battery life a lot? I have my GPS and Bluetooth turned off.

i got the phone about a month ago i love the features and all but yea the battery life is really bad. I ordered another one from radioshack so i just switch them out throughout the day it has been working out for me. Besides the battery i think it is a wonderful phone!!!

I just bought the A900 and have yet to find the proper path for homebrew ringers so that the phone recognizes them. I'm uploading a custom ~35k aac file, so it should be fine, filetype-wise.

Check out a program calles QPST it gives you the ability to edit the phones internal memory for ringers and games and not just the 47mb mass storage area.

if you cobert your mp3s into 3gpp2 files you can fit about 3 cds and put dem in the midia folder so you dont have to conect to the web to play them and THE DUBO is right with QPST and your msl code you can hack into your phone and upload anithing you want into your content folder
you can even make your own ringtones,videotones,scrensavers anithing

The one way i figured out how to put songs onto the phone...is just through windows media player. just connect your phone to your pc, then open up windows media player and go to sync. its pretty self explanitory from there....all your songs just go into your bluetooth folder under extract other frl....or some name like that. see if it works.

I need to know how to use my USB to transfer ringtones into my A900.

The A900 has got to be the WORST phone ever. I charge the phone all night, reach in my purse 3hours later and the phone has cycled itself off due to low battery. I thought exchanging the phone through Sprint would solve the problem, since they assured me that there were no other battery complaints. Guess what? Clearly they lied. My 2 month old phone was worthless, and now my several days old phone is also USELESS.
I have put the phone on Powersave mode and even changed the screensaver to a less intense screen with no improvement in the battery life.

The battery life is terrible. My wife and I both got this phone just a few months ago. My wife has to charge her phone daily and she doesn't talk that much.

a900 transferring of photos and outlook contacts is EASY with Future Dial Suite FutureDial.com. I found this a few years ago with another samsung phone. Have not quite gotten the hang of sizing the images yet for a clear images that I have transferred in.

I too think my battery is better the longer I use it ... also consider a Just Wireless car charger for the phone. I think the model is 03046. These are THE best car chargers I have every found. Walgreens or Staples.

Okay people. Battery definetly sucks. There is a cure. They sell an EXTENDED Battery. (Yeah you have to pay for it. I paid $60.00 plus inlcluding tax) but what a difference!...keep the old battery as a back up. This battery is worth every penny you pay for it. Remember all the things you can do. When I travel by train I listen to abc news or watch movies on the phone. Camordeer is great as well as the camera and I can play mp3's..so switch the battery to an EXTENDED battery!

Yea they are called "Call tones" I believe and if you go on the interent on your phone to the sprint home page (just hit menu and then home if its not already on that page) then go to downloads then you'll see under categories it will say "Call tones [learn more]" then you can find one you like but lately when I go to it it say temp unavailable but I dont know

This comment is for those who complain about battery charge.

Yes, I had the same issue with the BLADE I bought. The charge didn't even hold for a day. So what I did is, In a week of purchase I exchanged for a new BLADE phone(BestBuy). Wow, in one full charge it amazingly held charge for complete two days and I would have talked 1 hour total in those two days.

So I think the issue is many of the new (Samsung Blade) phones have battery manufacture issue. Luckily I got the good phone second time. If you do what I did you might be lucky too.

TO MAKE any MP3 a ringtone just do this its freeeeeeeekin awesome!!
All you need to do is take your mp3 file, cut it down to approximately 30 seconds
using an mp3 editing tool (try nero wave editor), and save it as AAC (.mp4) format
and then use an uploader to send the file to your phone
(http://pcs.cruz-network.net/done.php). A text message will be sent to your phone
with a website URL. Tell your phone to go to this location and it will begin a download.
Select yes, when sprint says it’s not from a trusted source and it will begin downloading.
Then you can set this mp3 as a ring tone! If you get confused do a search for ring tones
on www.sprintusers.com

Moving mp3's from Mac to A900: Phone on. Computer on. connect USB cable to computer. connect usb cable to phone. on phone: menu->tools>mass storage->connect to pc. you now have an image on desk top. drag songs to that image. after files copied, drag image to trash. on phone-click done. files are now located in mass storage->file manager.

The battery life is stinks. Bluetooths don't work. Returned phone last week because the connection inside the phone where the charger plugs in went bad.

I love the phone, but I am very disappointed.
