I think the phone offers some great features. IT doesn't look as you say, 'gay'.

Who knows what they'll come up with next, for now I'll just enjoy my SLVR L7 to it's full potential.

Michael, Cingular didn't come out with the phone Motorola did. I think the phone is kind of neat. By the way I wonder if Verizon is going to sell this phone. Anybody know?

I have contacted Verizon's customer service twice already about the SLVR and they have told me that they don't know that information ahead of time about which products they plan to carry in the future. :(

The song from the Cingular ad for the SLVR is This Strange Effect by Hooverphonic. It's actually a cover of an old Kinks song. The irony of the commercial is that you can't find the Hooverphonice song on iTunes. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

If you want the SLVR to work on Verizon's network, you'll have to wait until Q4 '06, when the CDMA version is slated to launch. Pure speculation on my part, but I wouldn't be surprised if it launched 1 yr from the CDMA RAZR - Dec. 12.

Ah! I want the SLVR so bad with Verizon. But when I called them, they said if I bought it, they wouldn't be allowed to put it on the Verizon network.

What actually does look gay, or actually, stupid, is guys who wear the small little Bluetooth phones in their ear. It makes a statement, like: "I am on call 24/7, which sucks. I wish I didn't have to wear this stupid thing on my ear." And guys who walk into a bar, or a grocery store, wearing that thing in their ear, cut that out... You look like a damn fool!

I agree with the last guy. People who wear those bluetooth things in their ear and walk around talking into them look like total losers.
