FCC approves Motorola Q

Apr 21 2006 - 09:04 AM ET | Motorola, Verizon Wireless

Motorola QThe FCC has signed off on the Motorola Q, perhaps finally signaling a launch for the delayed handset. Originally slated for a Q1 release, the Q is set to debut exclusively with Verizon Wireless. No new details were in the filing, but previous specs have been confirmed.

Features of the handset include:

  • Windows Mobile 5.0 OS
  • 1.3 megapixel camera
  • EV-DO high-speed data
  • RAZR thin design, .45" thick
  • miniSD slot
  • Bluetooth

The Q's most direct competitor is the Treo 700w, also a current exclusive of Verizon Wireless.

Hey, I am waiting so patiently for the Q to come out. I search the news everyday trying to find out if it's out yet. If you could, can you put me on a list of people to notify when the Q hits the street?
