samsung_c417.jpgThe Samsung C417 is Cingular's latest entry-tier level phone. With basic features and a low price, the C417 also comes in quite thin and light. At 17mm thick with a weight of 81g, it's only a tad thicker than the RAZR and actually lighter.

Features of the Samsung C417 include:

  • Quadband GSM
  • 128×160 pixel screen with 65k colors
  • VGA camera
  • Bluetooth
  • Speakerphone

Cingular is selling the C417 for $49.99 after a 2-year service contract and $30 mail-in rebate. It's available now.

This phone was beautiful. It has everything. But I had more dropped calls with this phone than I have ever had before. Also, with most calls there was so much static, I could nto hear anything anyway. I took mine back to the dealer & got my money back.
Sorry Samsung... I REALLY tried to like this phone.
