Sony Ericsson W300i launched by Cingular

Cingular has quietly launched the Sony Ericsson W300i, a clamshell Walkman branded handset. Despite little promotion, Cingular experienced strong sales for the W600i (no longer available) and Sony Ericsson has been anxiously awaiting more Walkman launches in the US. The W810i is still expected to launch on Cingular in the near future.

Features of the W300i include:

• Walkman music player (MP3/AAC/WAV)
• Bluetooth
• VGA Camera
• Speakerphone and stereo speakers
• IM: AIM/Yahoo/ICQ/MSN
• 20MB memory plus M2 memory card slot
