Treo 700p launched by Sprint

As expected, Sprint Nextel has started shipping the Palm Treo 700p. The device is also available from Verizon Wireless.

Features of the 700p include:

• EV-DO highspeed data (Sprint Power Vision)
• 128MB memory, 60MB available to user
• Intel XScale™ 312 MHz processor
• SD/SDIO card slot
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• Bluetooth
• 320 × 320 touchscreen with 65K colors

Sprint is charging $429.99 for the 700p after contract and $250 in instant savings. Verizon Wireless currently lists the phone for a slightly cheaper $399.99.
