Mr. Flint who also said that Sony Ericsson plans to become a top three manufactorer (currently #6, slightly behind Siemens), will expand its low-end selection due to demand from carriers. The last announcement date from Sony Ericsson was March 1st. In total six handsets have been announced this year. In contrast, Motorola announced 27 in just Q1. One of the phones announced in March, the Sony Ericsson K750i began shipping recently.
