Motorola announced this morning that sales of its iconic RAZR V3 have gone over the 50 million mark. The phone was announced in July 2004 and continues to ship unchanged from carriers around the world. There are now several variants, including the V3i and V3c. Another next generation RAZR, dubbed the RAZR K1, was approved by the FCC last week.
While 50 million units is a huge number for any phone line, it's not even Motorola's best effort. The Motorola StarTac line in the 90s sold an estimated 75 million units.
Justin, the RAZR V3c is what CDMA carriers use (c = CDMA). It's carried by Verizon Wireless and ALLTEL. VZW is now carrying an updated version for music, but they originally launched with the V3c. Hope that helps!
Honestly i never seen Motorola RAZR v3c....i only ever saw V3x.....is that a typo mistakes?
