The Nokia E62 features include:

  • 320×240 screen with 16 million colors
  • QWERTY keyboard with backlighting
  • Several email solutions, including Good Mobile Messaging, Cingular Xpress Mail, BlackBerry Connect, Mail for Exchange and regular POP/IMAP/SMTP
  • Quadband GSM plus EDGE
  • miniSD slot
  • S60 version 3 (Symbian 9)

Cingular will exclusively begin shipping the E62 on September 29th. Perhaps the most surprising news is price, as low as $149.99. This puts it in direct competition with the Motorola Q and significantly under the Treo's price point.

Wow that price is really really good. For what you get, I can't believe they are selling it for that. The BlackBerry 8700c is twice the price!

Did they strip out wifi, though?

Yes, they did strip out the WiFi. Gotta keep up those data revenues!
